I was born in Edirne, Turkey. I Graduated from Ege University (Turkey) in 2006 as an Agricultural Engineer. I got my MSc degree from “Mediterranean Agronomic Institute of Bari” (Italy) on “Mediterranean Organic Agriculture”.
I finished my PhD studies in Ege University on “Soil Management in Organic Olive Production”. I have been working at a governmental horticultural research institute in Turkey since 2011.My Research interests are sustainability, organic agriculture; olive production, breeding ve genetic resources. My current projects in Turkey are Soil Management in Organic Olive Production, Collection, Conservation and Evaluation of Olive Genetic Resources and Development of New Olive Varieties by Hybridization. I joined Dr. Ferguson’s research group in December 2016.
